Axom Sarba Siksha Abhijan Mission, Dibrugarh Text Box: Jyoti Kendra for The hard to reach are the most vulnerable and elusive group of children among the OUT OF SCHOOL children and hence require cautious and concentrate to attention to ensure their protection and their educational right. The children who are at the railway platform, children who commute daily from different parts to the city are most vulnerable. Objectives of Jyoti Kendra are: To know the specific problem of the children in critical condition in terms of getting elementary education. To address the problems under the fold of SSA with support from UNICEF. To build a conductive environment for children to enjoy their childhood and assist them in building self confidence, self esteem, empowerment of courage, decision making, capacity building and behavioral change. Protection of child rights and to provide education. Supervision, monitoring and need based support to the children.
